Stormy Weather

Didn't go to the club yesterday after all. Didn't get my casual kit ready in time, watched some telly and lost track of time. There also seemed to be a storm looming so decided not to go. Watched Telly including watching the finale of Doctor Who again. It was really good. Sad that Martha has decided not to go travelling round the universe once more but have heard that she may appear in the next series though probably as a guest. Apparently there is going to be a new companion.

By putting your grievance/concerns in writing it immediately became an official complaint - informal is usually taken as a verbal discussion - once in writing it is placed on a higher level of concern. From what you've written you're NOT being hasseled. The Duty Manager has every right to oversee any of his employees at any time (the fact that he hasn't in the past doesn't change that), he has to follow up any complaint and he can only do that by seeing the situation himself. Other manangers will talk it is almost inevitable, especially if they are interchangeable in their roles and act as deputies when people are off. What is important is that they don't discuss it with other employees unless undertaking an investigation and fact finding.
