And Then There Were Three

SL376226Three what? you may ask. 3 games last monday at the Grimsby Wargames Society.

As you can see left, there was an English Civil War game between Mark Temperton and Mark Alcock. I suspect that Mark won…..

Mal Taylor’s Pirate Ship. Mal shivered Andy’s timbers because he got the treasure me hearties! 

Steve Walker was also there on another table as he had brought his 15mm WW2 Germans and Romans along for Malc Johnston to do a photoshoot for the new “Official” club website at http://grimsbywargamessociety.webs.com

Malc unfortunately could not make it that night. Steve however didnt mind myeslf taking some photos of his figures. His photos will be my next post……

Shiver me Timbers! Its them thar pirates and a 7 years war game!

On the 8th February 2010, the last time I entered the Grimsby Wargames Society premises, there were just 2 games going on: A Seven Years wargame using the Black Powder rules and a pirate game between a pair of old sea dogs. Arrrrr!!

Pre-Christmas 2009 Wargames Me Hearties!

Here's a quick rundown of all the Pre-Christmas 2009 Wargames at the club on 21st December 2009 with lots of pics. First up the Napoleonics game between Mark Alcock and John Ogden - Photos above and below.



WW2 game using the Blitzkrieg Commander rules. Tim Mercer as the Americans with Dave Tuck as the Germans with Martin Buck assisting Dave for a short while. More photos below....
